Volunteering at Prema metta school was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had in my life!
I was an online English tutor for 2 years, but I’ve never taught in person. This was my first time teaching English in person and in groups.
To be honest, I was really nervous. When I showed up at school, Satyam found me and he said “Ohayogozaimasu!” with his beautiful smile. My nervous towards meeting and teaching children disappeared instantly!
Children were always full of energy, curious about learning new things and they actually gave me so much energy and happiness. I hope I shared them my positive vibes and confidence in speaking in English as well. Children made me wanna stay longer in Bodhgaya.
I miss them so much.
